Sysco

Full-time

Ashford

Competitive

39hrs per week

Sysco has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Service Manager to join the Product Supply team on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Service Team Manager, this role is responsible for driving end-to-end service improvements across our customer base. Working closely with Planning, Sales, Operations and external customers, you will identify service challenges, analyse performance trends and deliver sustainable solutions that enhance customer service and business performance.

The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and improving service levels across different sales channels. Using data and insight, you will investigate service issues, conduct root cause analysis and develop robust improvement plans that deliver long-term results. You will provide regular performance reporting, support service reviews with key stakeholders and lead discussions focused on improving operational performance. The role also involves working collaboratively with Sales teams and customers to agree service expectations, monitor contractual commitments and develop joint improvement initiatives where appropriate.

Our role is Monday – Friday, 39 hours per week, 8am-5pm and is offering hybrid working, with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Ashford office, so you must be within a commutable distance. The site has good transport links and free car parking for colleagues. Occasional travel will be required for internal and external meetings.

We're looking for a commercially minded professional with experience in supply chain, customer service or account management who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will have a strong understanding of service performance and continuous improvement principles, with the ability to identify opportunities, influence stakeholders and drive meaningful change. Experience working with both internal and external customers and building effective relationships at all levels will be key to your success.

Strong analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret, manipulate and present data to support decision-making and service improvement activities. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ideally have experience using systems and reporting tools such as SAP, Power BI or Tableau. Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills are also required, as you will regularly engage with colleagues, customers and senior stakeholders across the business.

This role would suit a proactive and resilient self-starter who enjoys solving problems, challenging the status quo and driving continuous improvement. You'll be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident taking ownership of initiatives that deliver measurable improvements in customer service and operational performance.
