Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Weekly rotational shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Directly managing a team of up to 15 people (2 Performance coaches, 1 Administrator and Warehouse Operatives)
- Reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance for your area / shift
- Deliver team member performance reviews (1-2-1's), development and/or succession planning as appropriate
- Review and Approve the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI) of your area and ensure that review's process and approval are taken under the established due dates
- Support and contribute towards briefing activities such as performance management appraisals, comms zone briefs and informal / formal conversations
- Ensure shift is managed in line with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Report and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures
- Participate on shift handover with your colleague of previous shift understanding the current status and priorities for your working day
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous team management experience within a First Line Manager/Team Manager role is essential
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
- Proven experience of building customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and motivation skills
- Knowledge of Blue Yonder system would be desirable
- Good balance of Results and respect approach
- Able to deliver results under stress and within a pressured environment
