This is an opportunity to join an established charity with an excellent local reputation as both a trusted partner and a great place to work. You will play a key role in delivering an innovative Community Network model that helps people remain independent, connected and well within their own communities.
As a Community Network Coordinator, you will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of the Community Network, working alongside colleagues, volunteers and partners to build a sustainable network of community support across North Lincolnshire. You will recruit, develop and support volunteers, manage client referrals and build strong local partnerships, ensuring people receive high-quality, person-centred support that improves health, wellbeing, resilience and independence.
This is a varied, autonomous and rewarding role that combines community engagement, volunteer development and operational service delivery. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting people to achieve their potential and finding practical solutions that make a lasting difference for individuals and communities. In return, you will have the opportunity to shape and continuously improve an innovative service that is helping to strengthen communities and reduce demand on public services through prevention and early intervention.
Citizens Advice North Lincolnshire is an open, supportive and progressive employer that recognises people bring a wide range of transferable skills, experiences and perspectives. Whilst experience in volunteer management, community development or community-based services would be an advantage, we are equally keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate the values, relationship-building skills and potential to succeed in the role. Depending on experience, appointments may be made at the lower end of the salary scale, with a structured programme of support and development to help build knowledge, confidence and expertise.
As an organisation, we are committed to developing modern and flexible ways of working that support both wellbeing and high performance. We operate a 4 Day Working Week model, enabling staff to work 80% of contracted hours while maintaining 100% pay, with an expectation of delivering agreed outcomes and performance. Subject to achieving competence and organisational requirements, the successful candidate will be eligible to opt into the scheme. We believe this approach creates a healthier, more sustainable working environment while enabling us to continue delivering outstanding services for local people.
