We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and nurturing school in Hemel Hempstead for a SEND Teaching Assistant to start in September on a full-time basis, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups where no 2 days are the same
  • Be adaptable to a range of different learning needs
  • Support the classroom teacher with designing engaging activities
  • Keep high standards of Safeguarding, health and safety

The ideal candidate

  • Has previous SEND experience (min 3 months desirable)
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Live around Hemel Hempstead or happy to commute
