The role
We are looking for a Content Marketing Executive to join our marketing team and help tell the stories behind our business, our brands, and our customers.
This is a hands-on content role focused on creating compelling written, visual, and video content that engages audiences across social media, email, websites, and print. You will spend time learning about our products and industry, visiting depots, speaking with colleagues and customers, and turning those insights into content that builds awareness, trust, and engagement.
This is not a desk-bound marketing role! One day you could be filming a combine harvester demonstration, the next interviewing a customer, attending an event, or creating content from one of our depots.
Whether it is a customer success story, a product launch, a behind-the-scenes video, or a social campaign, you will play a key role in shaping how people experience the C&O brand.
What You Will Be Doing
- Contributing to the content calendar, planning campaigns, and creating and publishing content across our social media channels in line with guidelines, alongside the Marketing Manager
- Writing articles, customer stories, product features, email campaigns, and website content
- Capturing photo and video content at depots, customer sites, demonstrations, and events on a variety of equipment
- Working with suppliers and internal teams to develop engaging content campaigns
- Identifying content opportunities and developing ideas that resonate with our audiences
- Monitoring content performance and using insights to improve future activity
- Maintaining a consistent tone of voice and brand identity across all channels
- Supporting ad hoc marketing projects, including print materials and branded merchandise
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in a content, marketing, communications, or social media role
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- A natural storyteller who can turn technical information into engaging content
- Experience creating content for social media, websites, and email marketing, and using the associated publishing tools
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Confidence working independently and generating ideas proactively
- A willingness to learn about our products, customers, and industry
Nice to have
- Previous experience within agriculture, construction, machinery, automotive, or related sectors
- Full clean driving licence
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools
- Knowledge of SEO and content optimisation
Success In This Role Will Look Like
- Growing visibility, awareness and engagement across key channels
- Increasing website traffic through content
- Delivering a consistent flow of high-quality content
Why join C&O?
We are a business built on straight talk, genuine expertise, and doing right by our customers. Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to create content that genuinely matters to the industries we serve, working closely with knowledgeable colleagues and some of the best-known brands in agriculture and construction.
You will join a supportive team that values your ideas and encourages creativity while your work has a clear impact across the business.
