Service Charge Senior – Altrincham | Xeinadin Group

Ready to take the next step in your service charge career?

As a Service Charge Senior, you’ll manage your own portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties, delivering accurate and timely service charge accounts while providing exceptional client support. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior team members and enhancing our property sector offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and reviewing year-end service charge accounts (residential & commercial)
  • Reconciling income/expenditure, including accruals and prepayments
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients and property managers
  • Working with external stakeholders to resolve complex queries and ensure compliance
  • Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Assisting with statutory accounts and audit queries when required
  • Keeping up to date with service charge best practice and RICS guidelines

Key Requirements

  • Experience in service charge accounting (residential, commercial or mixed)
  • AAT qualified or QBE; ACCA/ACA part-qualified is a bonus

Additional Requirements

  • Strong understanding of service charge legislation and leaseholder requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
  • High attention to detail and strong time-management across multiple deadlines
  • Confident using Excel and familiar with property management systems (e.g., Qube, MRI, Yardi)
