Assistant Facilities Manager

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to join our team at Bowmere Hospital, supporting services across the wider West Cheshire locality. This is a key role where you will have a direct impact on the quality, safety and patient experience of our environments. This role will involve working across multiple sites within the West Cheshire area and flexibility to meet service needs.

Main Duties

  • Support the day-to-day management of facilities services including domestics, portering, security and support services
  • Lead and supervise Facilities teams across Bowmere Hospital, outer buildings and community sites
  • Carry out quality audits, inspections and compliance checks to maintain high standards
  • Manage staffing processes including rotas, absence, recruitment and training
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement
  • Deputise for the Facilities Manager as required

About You -

You will be a confident and organised individual with experience in a facilities or operational environment. With strong leadership and communication skills, you will be able to motivate teams, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality services in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
