Assistant Hockey Coach

The MKM Dundee Stars are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Coach to join our

coaching staff for the upcoming Elite Ice Hockey League season. This is an opportunity to work within

a high-performance environment and help build a team culture centered on professionalism,

accountability, development, and winning.

Key Responsibilities

-Bench management and in-game communication

-Practice planning and on-ice skill instruction

-Video analysis, breakdowns, and presentation of team and individual clips

-Special teams planning and execution

-Assist with player development and individual feedback

-Travel, scheduling, and hockey operations logistics

-Contribute positively to the daily culture and standards of the organization

Qualifications

-Level 2 IIHF Coaching Certificate or equivalent

-Previous coaching experience at the junior, collegiate, or professional level

-Strong organizational and communication skills

-Proficiency with hockey video software and analytics platforms

-A detailed understanding of systems play and special teams

-The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned responsibilities

-A growth mindset and commitment to continuous learning

-Willingness to relocate to Dundee, Scotland, and work in a demanding professional hockey environment
