Location: Hesketh Park, Southport Pay: £13.00 per hour Hours: Guaranteed 50-hour contract per month An active, independent gentleman with a spinal cord injury is looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Personal Assistant to provide support with his morning routine. This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone in maintaining their independence and active lifestyle. The support required is minimal, and full training will be provided, making this role suitable for both experienced care workers and those looking to begin a career in care. Hours Guaranteed 50-hour contract per month. Usually worked over three weekday mornings per week. Typical working hours are 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Some flexibility is required, as start and finish times may vary slightly depending on appointments or daily plans. Although you will be contracted and paid for 50 hours each month, the actual support required is often less than the contracted hours. This provides the security of consistent pay while offering a flexible and rewarding working pattern. Responsibilities Assisting with the morning routine and personal care. Supporting independence while respecting privacy and dignity. Carrying out light domestic duties, including washing, cleaning and ironing. Helping with other light household tasks as required. Providing reliable, professional and person-centred support. About You Kind, dependable and trustworthy. Positive attitude with good communication skills. Able to work independently and use your initiative. Willing to learn and follow guidance. Previous care or support work experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided. A driving licence is not essential. What We Offer £13.00 per hour.
