Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for a Parashoot Housing Officer to join our Parashoot Housing Support Team

What you’ll achieve in the role

The overall purpose of this role is to provide customer-focused, individualised, outcome-focused support to enable customers to secure, maintain, or set up a new tenancy and avoid homelessness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Enable customers to live independently by assessing new referrals, identifying support needs, and co-creating personalised support plans that promote dignity, choice, and confidentiality.

  • Increase tenancy sustainment and prevent eviction by helping customers develop practical skills to manage their home, such as understanding tenancy responsibilities and day-to-day household tasks.

  • Improve access to external services by identifying specialist needs and connecting customers with the appropriate support providers in a timely and coordinated way.

  • Promote customer safety by identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns promptly and following Raven’s safeguarding procedures to ensure appropriate action.

  • Ensure accountability and consistency by maintaining accurate, up-to date, and well-organised support records, including completed and reviewed support plans.

What you’ll bring to Raven

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

  • Knowledge of assessment and support planning systems

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Understanding of the housing support needs of vulnerable people.

  • Knowledge of benefits systems

  • Admin and record keeping skills

  • Full clean driving licence.
