If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of a newly established Student Lifecycle Product Team working as a Lead Functional Analyst (SITS) within the Digital Products Directorate at Canterbury Christ Church University.

The Lead Functional Analysts play a key role in the design, and optimisation of the Student Record System (SITS), its components, and integrating systems. They will support the integration of business processes through the full student journey (such as Admissions, Enrolment and Graduation), drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the delivery of an exceptional student and staff experience.

The post holder will support business areas in understanding and optimising student lifecycle processes and data management within SITS by leading requirements workshops, impact assessments, gap analysis, and solution design sessions. They will identify opportunities for continuous improvement and leverage their knowledge and experience to enable the development of efficient, streamlined processes within SITS that enhance the student and staff experience, while maintaining a strong focus on data quality. The role will ensure that processes are robust, effective, and aligned with business and operational objectives.

How to be successful

To be successful in this role you will be a subject matter expert in Student Lifecycle business processes and the associated SITS functionality and have proven experience in working with business stakeholders, developers and testers to deliver effective solutions within a SITS based Student Records System to support the Student Lifecycle.

You will work flexibly to design processes and solutions for short term fixes whilst working with Business and IT Stakeholders to understand requirements for longer term initiatives and translate these into efficient and scalable system solutions within SITS working alongside SITS Developers and Testers within the team.

We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and this role isFlexible and connected (Professional Services) Campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that there will be a relatively even balance between time spent on and off campus; but in most cases the work location will be determined by the service required or the tasks/activities being undertaken.
