The role

The University of Bristol is seeking qualified and motivated Lifeguards to join our team and support the safe operation of our busy indoor swimming pool.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced leisure professionals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for our community. You will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and customer experience, while upholding the University’s values and behaviours.

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising the swimming pool to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all users

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the poolside, changing rooms, and entrance areas

• Providing professional and friendly support at the welcome desk

• Contributing to an effective pool rota to ensure consistent and safe operations

Post 1– 30.5 hours Sunday - 7:30 - 16:00 Monday - 7:30 - 16:00 Tuesday - 17:00 - 21:00 Thursday - 15:00 - 19:30 Friday - 15:30 - 23:00

Post 2 – 17 hours Sunday – 14:00 – 21:00 Monday – 14:30 – 22:30 Tuesday - 18:00 - 21:00

Part time Monday - 16:00 - 19:00 Monday - 16:00 - 20:00 Tuesday - 17:00 - 21:00 Saturday - 6:00 - 12:30 Saturday - 8:00 - 11:30 Saturday - 13:30 - 18:30 Saturday - 12:00 - 16:3
