Coombe Wood School has an exciting opportunity for a versatile and proactive Creative Arts Technician to join our team on a part-time basis.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for learning within the Creative Arts. Ideally, you will hold a relevant A-Level qualification in a creative subject, demonstrate proficiency in IT applications, and possess the ability to prioritise a fast-moving workload. A desire to work with young people and improve their life chances is essential

As Creative Arts Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Creative Arts department. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, organising, and managing resources across 3D Design, Graphics, Textiles, and Art.
  • Supporting teachers with lesson planning, preparation, and creating inspiring classroom environments.
  • Overseeing technical and resource provision, including monitoring stock levels and ordering materials.
  • Assisting the department in setting up for exhibitions, exam moderations, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school community and participating in ongoing professional development.
