Wellbeing Counsellor – Night Shifts – Home-Based
Location: Remote but must live in the UK

Remit
Compass Associates is proudly working with the leading Employee Assistance Programme provider to recruit for a Night Service Wellbeing Counsellor for their 24/7 helpline.
You will work from home, delivering compassionate, safe, in-the-moment emotional support and guidance over the telephone to individuals accessing the helpline. Working in line with the BACP Code of Ethics, you will deliver high-quality support to callers who may be experiencing emotional distress or a mental health crisis. This could include individuals presenting with safeguarding concerns, bereavement, suicidal ideation, or an acute exacerbation of a pre-existing mental health condition.
During each call, you will conduct clinical and risk assessments, provide appropriate advice and signposting to relevant services and professionals, and maintain accurate clinical records. Although this is a fast-paced helpline environment, you will also have allocated time each week where you will deliver structured video counselling to your own caseload of clients.
