Role Description
The Business Development Manager is a full-time role based in Bridgend. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities with coffee shops, hospitality partners, and distributors, while strengthening relationships with existing customers. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and visiting clients, presenting Ferrari’s Coffee products, negotiating pricing and terms, and preparing proposals and reports. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams on sales strategies, attend industry events and trade shows, and monitor market trends to support growth. The role also involves maintaining a structured sales pipeline, meeting agreed targets, and providing feedback to guide product and service improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong sales, account management, and negotiation skills, with demonstrated ability to develop new business and retain existing customers.
- Experience in relationship building, stakeholder management, and customer service, ideally within food and beverage or related sectors.
- Commercial awareness and analytical skills, including forecasting, reporting, and the ability to interpret market and competitor data.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and represent the brand professionally.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations) to manage pipelines and prepare documentation.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently on-site, with a proactive approach to meeting targets and deadlines.
- Previous experience in the coffee industry or hospitality sector is an advantage, along with a genuine interest in specialty coffee.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites and events as required; relevant vocational or degree-level qualification in business, sales, or a related field is beneficial.
Salary
£35,000 - £45,000 Based on experience
Full electric company car
Commission Model (Realistic OTE £6,000)
