Salary: Lecturer Scale £35,112.48 - £41,600.00 per annum (FTE) dependent on qualifications and experience
We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic A-Level English & Philosophy Lecturer to join our Sixth Form Campus. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver high-quality teaching that motivates, challenges, and supports students in achieving their full academic potential. The successful candidate will teach A-Level English and Philosophy, creating engaging and thought-provoking learning experiences that develop students’ critical thinking, analytical and communication skills. You will be committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning and assessment, using innovative approaches to inspire a love of literature, language and philosophical enquiry.

- East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.
Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
