Working as part of a multi-disciplined shift team, you'll help ensure the safe, stable and efficient operation of the Blast Furnace and its associated plant.

Operating from the Blast Furnace Control Room, you'll use a range of advanced computer systems to monitor plant performance, respond to operational issues and support the delivery of safety, production and quality targets.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitoring and controlling Blast Furnace processes using multiple computerised control systems.

· Managing charging, coal injection, hot blast stove and ancillary plant operations.

· Responding to process alarms and operational abnormalities to maintain safe and stable operations.

· Working closely with Operations, Engineering and Maintenance teams to identify and resolve issues.
