Imaging Assistants are an integral part of the Radiology Team providing a high standard of patient centered care to deliver and maintain a good patient experience.

We are looking for individuals with

GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, including English Language and Mathematics

Previous experience in a caring role/profession

Committed to providing quality care

Highly motivated and want to be a part of a dedicated team

Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus

You will become part of a professional and caring workforce delivering high standards of care to our patients, which is both challenging and rewarding.

The post will be a support role to patients undergoing tests and procedures, assisting consultants and radiographers performing radiology examinations.

Applicants must be prepared to work flexibly to include early morning, evening and weekend shifts. Participation in the Bank/Statutory Holiday Rota is a requirement of this post.

There is a brand new community diagnostic centre (CDC) with Radiology facilities at Cannock Chase Hospital . This post will require rotation across both sites as required by service needs.
