Role Description

The Futsal Coach is a part-time, on-site role, responsible for planning and delivering high-quality futsal training sessions for the Maidenhead Womens Senior Team and across the Brunel University Futsal Programme.

The coach will plan and deliver high quality training sessions and lead the teams on match days. They will support players in both individual skill development and teamwork, provide constructive feedback, and support their physical, mental, and social development. The role involves coordinating with other coaches and club staff, managing session logistics and equipment, and maintaining accurate attendance and performance records.

Qualifications

  • Strong futsal and football coaching skills, including session planning, technical and tactical instruction, and player development.
  • Experience working with diverse age groups and abilities, with a commitment to inclusive, player-centered coaching.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to motivate players and collaborate with staff and volunteers.
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare responsibilities in a youth and community sports environment.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., FA Futsal Level 2/UEFA C ) and ongoing commitment to professional development.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including session administration, fixture preparation, and equipment management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in line with training schedules and match commitments.
  • Previous experience in a club or community sports setting
