HGV Maintenance Controller to join our team in Ellistown.

What You’ll Be Doing
Maintain real-time visibility of fleet status, ensuring vehicles are ready, prioritised correctly, and aligned to rental demand
Manage workshop workflow in partnership with the Workshop Manager, setting clear priorities and resolving delays or blockers
Oversee onboarding of new vehicles, ensuring documentation, system uploads, and pre-hire requirements are completed efficiently
Review maintenance requirements, assess repair costs, raise and authorise purchase orders, and coordinate repairs with suppliers and OEMs
Act as the link between operations and the workshop, providing clear updates and managing fleet readiness risks
Support parts sourcing, warranty identification, and cost control to maximise value and minimise downtime
Ensure all vehicles meet high quality and safety standards before re-entering service
Work closely with operations to match fleet availability with customer demand and support service delivery
What You’ll Bring
Time-served experience in an HGV, truck or tanker environment, with strong technical understanding
Excellent coordination, organisation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
A proactive mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving ability
Good IT skills and attention to detail
A good sense of humour – we work hard, but we enjoy what we do
