Redruth Revival CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company dedicated to supporting Redruth’s economic, social, and cultural prosperity. We focus on heritage-led regeneration, business collaboration, and community projects that bring new life to historic spaces and keep them accessible and valued by everyone. As a Heritage Development Trust working in partnership with the Architectural Heritage Fund, we ensure our initiatives respect and enhance the town’s unique character while supporting its future growth. The organisation has no shareholders, and any surplus is reinvested directly into Redruth, with Directors volunteering their time and expertise. Role Description
The Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Redruth, supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of Redruth Revival CIC. This position involves managing office systems, handling correspondence, maintaining records and databases, and organising files and documentation related to projects and partnerships. The Administrator will assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, coordinating diaries for Directors, and responding to enquiries from community members, partners, and stakeholders. The role also includes basic financial administration such as processing invoices, tracking expenses, and supporting grant or funding documentation. The Administrator will help with drafting and formatting reports, updating simple website or social media content, and providing general administrative support across heritage, regeneration, and community projects as needed.

- Candidates should possess strong administrative and organisational skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and document management.
- Candidates should possess confident communication skills, with the ability to respond to enquiries professionally and collaborate with colleagues, partners, and community stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess basic financial administration capabilities, such as handling invoices, expenses, and simple budget tracking.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and online collaboration tools).
- Candidates should possess attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
- Candidates should possess an interest in community development, heritage, or regeneration, and be motivated to support a not-for-profit, socially focused organisation.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work independently on-site in Redruth while contributing positively to a small, collaborative team.
- Relevant experience in administration, office coordination, or a similar role is beneficial; vocational qualifications or education in business administration or related fields
