Administrator - Supported Accommodation Service

A full-time Accommodation Coordinator in a Supported Accommodation scheme in Newport. You will be required to work Monday - Friday office hours although flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service.

About the role

This is a Accommodation Co-Ordinator role based in our Supported accommodation service, In2Change, Newport. We have a team of Scheme Support officers, and Project Workers providing 24/7 Support to our diverse group of customers.

You will play a key part in providing a warm, friendly, and welcoming ‘front of house’ service whilst assisting the manager with the day to day running of the service.

Day to Day Duties

  • Being the first point of contact for our clients and visitors being based in the reception area of the scheme
  • Co ordinating and managing ongoing maintenance
  • Managing the referrals
  • Raising orders for procuring items
  • Creating reports as requested by your manager
  • Telephone and reception duties
  • Planning and organising meetings and events
  • Establishing and maintaining client records including filing and archiving to ensure the smooth running of the service

Skills and Experience Needed

  • A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
  • Co-ordination, planning and organising - Maintenance, meetings, events
  • Good communication via telephone and reception duties
  • A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
  • Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations
