Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Maidstone, Kent.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for selling advertising, sponsorship, and other media solutions across one of Datateam’s international titles, managing a portfolio of existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
Day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining relationships with clients, conducting sales calls and meetings, preparing proposals, and closing deals. The role also involves coordinating with editorial, marketing, and events teams to ensure campaigns meet client objectives and tracking performance against sales targets. The Sales Executive is expected to maintain accurate records in the CRM system, stay informed about market trends, and represent Datateam professionally at industry events and meetings, both in the UK and internationally.
Qualifications
- Good sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Account management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain long-term client partnerships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, target-driven approach with a proactive attitude to identifying new opportunities.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role is beneficial; formal education in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
