As our Training & Development Officer, you will play a key role in making that happen.
The role
Working closely with our Group Training and Development Manager, you will support the design, delivery and quality of training across the Gravity group. You will coach and develop our site managers and Gravity Coaches through the Gravity Academy, deliver first aid training, and help ensure every team member is equipped to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
This is a hands-on, varied role that will see you travelling across our sites, building relationships at every level and making a real impact on the way our people learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Upskilling and coaching managers and Gravity Coaches through the Gravity Academy, ensuring consistently high standards of training delivery
- Supporting site management in producing training programmes and inductions for new starters
- Monitoring trainee progress and working with managers to develop individual learning plans where needed
- Managing evaluation processes and quality assurance for the Gravity Academy, conducting regular site visits to ensure consistency
- Planning and delivering first aid training across the group, ensuring each site meets the required ratios and all records are accurately maintained
- Coaching site teams with a commercial mindset helping them identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience and drive performance
- Maintaining your own continuous professional development in line with first aid regulator requirements
Skills & Experience
- Experience of delivering training programmes in a professional environment
- A confident, engaging public speaker with excellent presentation skills
- A natural communicator who can build relationships and influence at all levels
- Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine passion for people development
- Computer literate with solid working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- GCSE pass grades as a minimum
- Flexibility to travel to other Gravity sites and occasionally stay overnight
It would be great if you also have:
- A Qualified First Aid Instructor qualification
- A Level 3 Award in Education & Training
- A degree, CIPD or CTP level qualification or equivalent
- Experience with learning platforms, ATS or CRM systems
