Hourly Rate: £13.45 per hour
Shifts: 30 hours per week

About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate Laundry Assistant. Working alongside our catering and care teams, you’ll help create a safe, engaging and comfortable environment where residents can thrive.
What You'll Do
- Carry out high‑quality cleaning within our in house laundry.
- Follow agreed cleaning procedures and hygiene standards to prevent cross‑infection and maintain a safe environment.
- Use equipment safely and correctly, reporting any faults or issues promptly.
- Take responsibility for Health & Safety and COSHH compliance, reporting hazards, accidents, or concerns without delay.
- Work effectively to schedules and time limits, supporting colleagues, attending training/meetings, and reporting any resident concerns to care or nursing staff.
Qualifications & Skills
- Good general education.
- Basic Food Awareness Certificate or NVQ level 2 is desirable (or willingness to work towards it).
- In good general health to meet the requirements of the role.
- Empathy with older people
