This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialise in Security / Access Control Systems to some of the largest Utility companies across the UK as part of the National Grid Technology Framework, to join as an ambitious Technical Supervisor and help to develop the business during an exciting phase of growth. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of projects in line with agreed timescales.

UK Travel is a requirement of the role, so a full driving licence is mandatory.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical oversight and input across all phases of site activity
  • Lead the integration of systems including hardware, software, and network components
  • Manage and execute commissioning activities, ensuring systems meet design and operational requirements
  • Plan and conduct Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) in collaboration with clients and project teams
  • Deliver client training on installed systems, ensuring operational understanding and compliance
  • Support the Site Manager in coordinating technical resources and resolving integration issues
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, including commissioning reports and SAT records
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Liaise with contractors, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth technical delivery
  • Identify and escalate technical risks or delays to the Site Manager

Essential Competencies

  • Proven experience in technical supervision, systems integration, or commissioning roles
  • Strong understanding of cyber-physical systems and infrastructure
  • Familiarity with site acceptance testing (SAT) and client handover processes
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and client-facing abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and site teams
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting
  • CAD and other technical software knowledge desirable
  • Valid driver's license
