Specialist Practitioner

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust

Are you a specialist practitioner interested in neurodevelopmental conditions?

Would you like to work in a small and supportive team where everyone is valued and where the work is challenging and requires innovation and optimism?

Would you like to join us as we navigate new ways of working and build new important relationships to improve health outcomes for the neurodivergent community?

We want the right person to join our service - if any of the above applies, read on

What we are looking for

  • a full-time Specialist Practitioner to work in our Pan-Sussex Neurodevelopmental service (blended in-person and remote working)
  • a colleague with interest in autism and ADHD and who understands this is an evolving area of knowledge and practice and who is committed to supporting positive change
  • someone who has enthusiasm to learn (however experienced) and to be part of a team and who is interested in developing leadership skills
  • someone who likes to manage their diary and enjoy autonomy as a practitioner - whilst having the reassurance of knowing what is expected from their role and activity (always knowing there are colleagues available for reflection and for support)
  • If you also have skills in innovative solutions, including IT solutions, we would really love to hear from you
  • We highly value lived experience

What we can offer

  • an opportunity to really learn about neurodevelopmental conditions (ASC and ADHD) - to develop any existing understanding you have and to feel confident and competent in your specialism.
  • a flexible but challenging role as a specialist practitioner - using these skills and knowledge every day to feel satisfied in your work
