Casual Matchday Steward

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Matchday Stewarding Team at the Coventry Building Society Arena. Be part of the excitement in a fast-paced sporting environment, helping to deliver a safe and enjoyable experience for supporters.

A range of roles are available, and full training will be provided – no experience necessary.

Role Purpose

To provide a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all supporters and visitors attending fixtures and events primarily at the CBS Arena.

This role is on a casual hours basis supporting our matchday/events which may include evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities include

• Safety & Crowd Management
• Customer Service
• Ground regulation Compliance

Essential skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, confident, and able to work under pressure.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and approach.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy, fast-moving environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable

• Previous stewarding, customer service, or security experience.
• Level 2 in Spectator Safety (or willingness to work towards this).
• Knowledge of football matchday operations.
