We are looking for a positive, flexible and reliable Semi-skilled tradesperson to join our team, working primarily within void properties to prepare homes for new tenants. This is a varied, hands on role ideal for somone with practical skills across multiple trades.
Whist predominantly working on your own you will also be working alongside multi-skilled colleagues to assist with work such as filling, painting, wall paper stripping and external garden works. Some jobs will call for a bit more physical effort, whether that's shifting materials, removing bulky items left behind, or supporting with heavy lifts.
This service is an integral part of the overall void service and work needs to be completed within timescales set to meet customer expectations and needs. As this service is demand led we require the successful candidate will have an open and flexible attitude towards duties and hours of work, working with the peaks and troughs in void properties, in order to maintain the smooth running of the void management process.
You will excel if you have previous experience of working in a similar multi trade or maintenance role, with basic skills across a range of trades. You'll have knowledge of and the ability to observe Health & Safety and COSHH regulations accompanied with knowledge of clearing and cleaning properties.
You must hold a full clean driving licence.
