Ecommerce Manager
Living Things
Living Things is one of the fastest-growing drinks brands in the UK, with listings in every major grocer, the best independents, and 20+ international markets. We're less than three years into our mission to make soft drinks that are delicious and guilt-free and we're growing our team.
We're looking for people who want real ownership and the chance to build one of the UK's defining consumer brands.
As E-Commerce Manager, you’ll own the commercial growth of our online channels end to end. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role. You’ll own our D2C presence across Shopify, TikTok Shop and Amazon, make the product and merchandising decisions that drive online growth, and turn traffic into revenue.
This is a genuine build opportunity: D2C is underdeveloped at Living Things today, and you’ll own it. If you’re excited by ownership, love solving problems, and want to scale a channel from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities
Digital trading & revenue performance
- Own trading across all e-commerce channels (Shopify, TikTok Shop, Faire and Amazon) hitting revenue, margin and profitability targets
- Plan and execute a digital trading calendar that keeps us ahead of launches, promotions and seasonal moments across every channel
- Own the commercial performance of the website: merchandising, PDPs, landing pages, conversion and customer experience
- Make product, range and merchandising decisions to optimise for D2C performance
- Test and iterate on promotional mechanics (bundles, bulk-buy, referral and discounting) to maximise revenue and margin
Acquisition & agency management
- Manage our TikTok Shop and Amazon agencies, holding every pound of spend against clear targets
- Own paid acquisition across paid social, affiliates and paid media, keeping a close eye on CAC efficiency and MER
- Continuously test new channels, creative approaches and growth levers
- Work closely with the Marketing team so e-commerce and brand activity pull in the same direction across paid, SEO, CRM and social
Conversion & customer journey
- Own the CRO roadmap from traffic to checkout, running structured A/B tests and UX experiments
- Run regular full-site audits to find and fix UX friction, checkout issues and tracking gaps across mobile and desktop
- Dig into site behaviour, session data and customer journeys to find friction points and growth opportunities
- Manage outsourced development and own the Shopify improvement roadmap, keeping quality high and delivery tight
Email, CRM & retention
- Own the email channel end to end; campaigns, lifecycle flows and retention across email and SMS
- Build retention strategies that increase repeat purchase and LTV
- Keep CRM joined up with trading, launches and promotional moments, never running in a silo
Analytics, reporting & insight
- Own weekly and monthly performance reporting and dashboards
- Keep attribution, tracking and reporting accurate across all platforms and partners, so we always know what’s working
- Use data and AI tools to work smarter
Requirements
- 4+ years in e-commerce, DTC or consumer brand growth
- Ideally experience helping scale early-stage D2C brands towards £1m+/month
- Commercially minded, with a track record of driving revenue growth rather than just managing campaigns
- Hands-on Shopify experience; you understand the levers that drive conversion, retention, AOV and acquisition and are confident with the back end, apps and integrations
- Experience managing paid channels or agencies, with a strong grasp of CAC, ROAS, AOV and LTV, fluent in GA4 and e-commerce metrics
- Have led website, CRO or customer journey improvements that delivered measurable results
- Hands-on CRM experience, ideally across TikTok Shop, Faire and Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central). Experience owning email/retention platforms (Klaviyo or similar)
- We know great candidates don’t always tick every box. If this role excites you, we’d love to hear from you, even if your experience doesn’t perfectly match every requirement.
Benefits
- Own a channel with huge headroom and real strategic importance to the business
- Competitive salary + equity
- Small, ambitious team based in our Vauxhall office, where your work has visible impact
