Plater Welder

Time Served Plater Welder required on a permanent basis.

Location:- Knottingley, West Yorkshire, WF11 8BN

Working Hours:- Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm (overtime available)

Applicants must be fully skilled in all aspects of manufacturing from light to Heavy fabrications, ranging from 2mm to 30mm wall thickness.

The suitable Plater Welder must be accustomed to reading engineering drawings and working with Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel, using MIG, Stick or TIG.

Skills and Qualifications

• Apprentice trained – ideally.
• Strong fabricator with Mig, Stick & TIG fabrication processes to a coded standard.
• Fabrication of various materials such as Stainless and carbon steel.
• Working with various sizes of Material ranging from 2mm to 30mm.
• Have excellent attention to detail to ensure all work carried out is to a high standard of workman ship.
• Must be able to read & work from Engineering drawings.
• Have good H&S awareness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
