As demand for our services continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Graduate Project Engineer to join our Kirkintilloch-based engineering team and begin building an exciting career within a dynamic and growing company.

The Role

As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will work closely with the projects team, supporting the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of a wide range of electrical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of engineering projects from initial concept through to completion.
  • Work alongside the management and engineering team to design and coordinate upcoming projects.
  • Prepare project documentation including Risk Assessments, Health & Safety documentation, and Quality procedures.
  • Communicate directly with clients, assist with preparing quotations, and coordinate procurement of materials when required.
  • Assist with the creation of CAD drawings and electrical system designs.
  • Liaise with installation teams and electricians to ensure projects are clearly understood and delivered efficiently.
  • Carry out site surveys and provide onsite engineering support when required.
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

About You

We are looking for someone who is ambitious, technically minded, and eager to develop a long-term engineering career.

You should have:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent engineering qualification) completed within the last 3 years.
  • A strong understanding of electrical systems and a genuine interest in marine or industrial engineering environments.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence interacting with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • The ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • A willingness to travel nationally and internationally when project requirements demand.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
