The Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Services Apprentice to join our IT Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills while supporting employees and students across the College. You'll gain hands-on experience providing first, second and third-line IT support, resolving technical issues, maintaining IT assets, and contributing to projects that enhance our digital services.

Working alongside experienced IT professionals, you'll play an important role in delivering reliable, efficient, and high-quality IT support while developing the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in technology.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide first, second and third-line support to employees and students, accurately logging, investigating and resolving IT incidents, problems and service requests, escalating when required.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with users throughout the lifecycle of incidents, requests and projects, ensuring timely updates and resolutions.
  • Support the installation, configuration and maintenance of IT equipment, software and systems, while ensuring IT asset management processes and records are maintained accurately.
  • Contribute to IT projects by providing technical assistance, supporting implementations and helping to deliver strategic technology objectives across the College.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within IT Service Management systems, including knowledge base articles, operational procedures, asset records and service reports.
