Nixon McQuade are working with a leading international law firm with offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow who are looking to recruit a Litigation Paralegal to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a paralegal with personal injury experience who is looking to develop within a busy litigation team, working on high-quality insurance and defendant litigation matters.

The Role

• Supporting solicitors and fee earners with personal injury and litigation files
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence and court documentation
• Reviewing medical records, expert reports and case evidence
• Preparing bundles and assisting with court preparation
• Liaising with clients, insurers, solicitors, counsel and third parties
• Managing case administration and keeping files up to date
• Supporting the progression of both pre-litigated and litigated matters

The Person

• Previous paralegal experience within personal injury or litigation
• Strong drafting, administration and case management skills
• Good attention to detail and organisation
• Confident communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a busy team
• Experience within defendant insurance litigation would be beneficial but is not essential

This role would suit a Litigation Paralegal, Personal Injury Paralegal or Legal Assistant looking to take the next step with a large commercial law firm.
