Moneyfields FC Men’s First Team – Kit Manager

Location: John Jenkins Stadium

Reporting to: First Team Manager & General Manager

Status: Paid

Role Overview

The First Team Kit Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management, organisation, preparation and maintenance of all kit and equipment for the Men’s First Team. This role ensures that players and staff are fully equipped, organised and presented professionally for training, matchdays and club activities.

Kit & Equipment Management

• Receive, organise, issue and collect all first team kit and equipment for training sessions, matchdays, and travel.

• Ensure all kits (shirts, shorts, socks, training wear) are clean, in good condition, and ready for use weekly.

• Maintain accurate records of kit inventory, stock levels, and allocated player items.

• Laundering of match kit

Matchday & Training Preparation

• Prepare and set up team dressing rooms prior to matches, including layout of playing and warm up kit.

• Pack and transport all necessary kit and equipment for away fixtures, ensuring nothing is overlooked.

• Check matchday regulations and kit compliance (colours) in agreement with coaching staff.

Liaison & Communication

• Work closely with First Team coaching and backroom staff to meet needs and respond to changes.

• Communicate with General Manager regarding orders, stock replenishment and delivery timelines (where applicable).

• Serve as the primary point of contact for kit enquiries from players, staff and club stakeholders.

Standards & Professionalism

• Represent Moneyfields FC professionally on and off club premises.

• Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness and safety in kit storage and preparation areas.

Skills & Attributes

• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.

• Capable of managing multiple tasks under time pressure.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Passionate about football and supporting team success.

Experience

• Experience in a kit management, equipment, or similar operational support role is desirable but not essential.

Availability

• Must be available for weekend and midweek matches, with games often being played Saturdays and Tuesdays.

Other Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
