About The Role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a 4D Digital Engineer to join our growing team in Essex (Lower Thames Crossing Project)
What you'll be doing
- Develop detailed 4D simulations integrating 3D models with programme data.
- Maintain accurate linkages between model components and the programme.
- Lead digital rehearsal sessions and capture actions.
- Identify sequencing clashes, access constraints and logistics issues.
- Support temporary works, lifting operations and construction methodology planning.
- Produce visual outputs including animations, stills, dashboards and reports.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, metadata requirements and CDE protocols.
- Work with planners to validate programme logic using 4D insights.
- Maintain templates, libraries and 4D workflow documentation.
- Mentor junior team members.
Who we're looking for
- Strong Synchro/4D software skills; good working knowledge of Navisworks.
- Understanding of P6 and programme logic.
- Good knowledge of 3D modelling workflows (Revit, Civil 3D, Bentley).
- Understanding of ISO 19650 processes.
- Experience supporting planning, engineering and constructability reviews using 4D.
