Working closely with the Service Leader and Support Worker Team, you will be responsible for supporting vulnerable individuals in their day to day lives. Each person we support is unique, so the support you provide will be person-centred and will focus on achieving the best lives possible for each individual.
Our Shifts: Various from 7am to 10pm including sleepovers and weekends
Shift Requirements: 30 hours
Contract: Fixed Term (1 year)
Uk Driving License: beneficial but not essential
What You Will Be Doing
You will be support a group of adults to live independently in their own homes around Peterhead Town Centre. The individuals we support have learning disabilities, autism and own Syndrome so require support to live their every day lives.
The people we support love group events so our team support them to organise and host these events. They enjoy a wide variety of activities, including going to the cinema, getting their nails done, watching football, going to car shows, arts and crafts, watching Disney movies and going to concerts.
Our staff provide daily support such as medical administration, cooking an cleaning, helping the people we support achieve their goals. We also provide support to manage their finances.
We provide 24/7 support and this will include some weekend working and overnight work (sleepovers).
This is a 30 hour fixed term role with the possibility of extending to a Full Time contract role.
