We’re Hiring – Part-Time Accounts & Bookkeeping Assistant

Astbury Golf Club, Congleton

Astbury Golf Club is looking for a reliable and experienced Part-Time Accounts & Bookkeeping Assistant to join our friendly administration and finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking flexible part-time work in a professional and welcoming environment. We’re particularly keen to hear from candidates with bookkeeping and accounting experience. Experience processing card transaction income would also be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Processing and reconciling incoming payments
Bank reconciliations
Maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting bookkeeping and accounting administration
Assisting with membership records
Assisting with BACS payment runs for suppliers and payroll
Supporting month-end financial processes and management accounts reporting
Providing general finance and administrative support

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous bookkeeping and accounts experience

• Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail

• Is confident working with financial records and payment systems

• Has experience with accounting software (we currently use Sage Business Cloud Accounting and plan to migrate to Xero)

• Is proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Is trustworthy, reliable, flexible, and able to work independently

Hours & Benefits

Part-time – minimum 20 hours per week

Based at Astbury Golf Club, Congleton
