About the role
The Paralegal will be dedicated to supporting a key client of the firm, a large and growing organisation with a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Working as an extension of the client’s in-house team, the role will focus on delivering practical employment and immigration support across a broad range of matters.
This position offers strong client exposure, with the Paralegal playing an active role in day-to-day UK matters, as well as supporting the coordination and tracking of advice across the business. The role also includes responsibility for financial reporting and billing processes, helping to ensure efficient and transparent client delivery.
- The Paralegal will support the client team in both a fee-earning and relationship-focused capacity, including:
- Working closely with client stakeholders and the UK legal team, supporting tasks such as legal research, drafting documents and assisting with Data Subject Access Requests
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal matters, including disclosure, bundle preparation, drafting witness statements and supporting hearing preparation
- Liaising with external advisers and coordinating input across a range of matters and projects
- Managing and maintaining content on the client extranet to ensure information is current and accessible
- Monitoring and reporting on legal spend, and supporting the billing process
- Supporting wider client relationship initiatives, including preparing materials for and attending review meetings, and assisting with client training sessions
The role will be initially and primarily based at the client’s offices in Bedfordshire for three days per week, with the remaining time spent working from home.
