Our Shared Service Centre, based out of Liverpool is a hub for transactional activity across multiple ABF companies. Supporting some well-known brands such as Kingsmill, Patak’s, Blue Dragon across disciplines including Payroll, Accounts Payable, Customer Services and IS, to name a few.
The Role
We are for a fixed term Technical Support Analyst based in a small team dedicated to providing device, technical asset management and licence support along with provision of relevant reporting and administration. The roles include working closely with our infrastructure partner who control our central infrastructure function to managing the service across our supported business units and users.
We are open to considering Apprenticeships for the permanent role.
Core Activities
Ensure asset management processes are followed and implemented ensuring all audit requirements are met.
Maintain and report on stock levels to ensure continued good customer service. Ensures devices are available and built to SLA thus ensuring good customer service to all supported business units
As part of a team act as key contact and resolver for local site infrastructure issues. You will assist with issues where possible and provide additional liaison with ABF SSC, ultimately acting as the point of escalation if needed to ensure the issues are resolved
Key team member to ensure management of desktop and infrastructure applications including accurate licensing allocation, installation and reporting
Ensures the correct assignment of licences across the device estate and work with the Tech Services Team Lead and IS Finance to ensure correct levels are maintained
Work on technical projects to ensure delivery to the required project standards and all allocated tasks are completed as per the specified requirements
We would be looking for you to possess a good knowledge of IT infrastructure (e.g., desktops, laptops etc) along with high quality oral communication and written skills. If you have experience in a Technical Service or a similar role that would be great but we are open to those who have recently graduated in a Computer Science or related degree.
Please be aware that due to the nature of this role it requires on-site working at our Liverpool site (L30) 5 days per week therefore candidates should be in a position to commute on a daily basis.
