There is strong collaboration with teams in London and Manchester with matters being resourced seamlessly between our three UK offices, drawing on different practices and skills in our various locations.

Through a mixture of new technology and innovative working methods, we are able to offer our clients an efficient, cost effective and tailored service. You will have the opportunity to work on complex and high value transactions in a flexible and fast-paced environment.

Working with team members in Southampton, Manchester and London, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing support to real estate lawyers on a wide range of commercial property transactions;
  • Assisting with drafting documents (subject to being provided with the right training), including but not limited to replies to pre-contract enquiries, licences to alter, 1954 Act paperwork, licences to occupy, tenancies at will and short term leases. As your experience grows we would look to you to run these types of transactions with increasing independence.
  • Dealing with post-completion formalities such as SDLT and Land Registry applications (or assisting with the delegation of these actions to the relevant teams).
  • Organising and operating data sites for transactions and deeds management.
  • Assisting on discrete tasks supporting the real estate team, for example, dealing with real estate conditions precedent on a financing transaction.
  • Assisting the team with searches and title queries including using Orbital Witness. Starting to review search results to populate title reporting.
  • Supporting the team in client relationship value added initiatives including reporting.

  • Ability and willingness to turn work around quickly and sometimes work outside of standard hours
