About the role
For 100 years, Muntons has been producing high-quality, sustainable malt and malted ingredients for some of the most famous and well-loved brands around the globe.
We have an established digital presence but we’re looking for a creative and digitally savvy communications and marketing professional to join our team to help move our digital communications forward.
This role will play a key part in shaping how we creatively tell our story across our markets in the UK, Asia, Europe and the rest of the world, as well as engaging with customers, industry stakeholders and local communities on social media and other digital channels.
Reporting to the Communications Manager and working closely with the wider Marketing team, you will produce digital content across multiple platforms, including social media, email and the website. You will bring creative flair to the development of graphics, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the Muntons brand. You will also support internal communications by creating engaging content that captures the attention of colleagues across all sites.

Responsibilities
Content creation
- Lead multimedia content creation, producing high-quality, engaging, and authentic assets including videos (short- and long-form), photography, graphics and blog copy aligned with the Muntons brand, storytelling objectives and commercial positioning.
- Manage Muntons’ social media channels day to day, planning, scheduling and creating engaging content (including paid content), managing communities and driving performance across both corporate and Homebrew channels to grow reach and engagement.
- Stay up to date with emerging social media trends and platform updates.
- Track and report on social performance, working with the Communications Manager to deliver effective paid campaigns, generate leads and provide insights to optimise content and drive channel growth.
- Support the rollout of multichannel B2B campaigns across web, social media, email and other relevant channels through content and asset creation.
- Support email campaigns through Zoho CRM.
- Support website content updates alongside the Marketing team via the WordPress CMS, including blogs, news stories and SEO activity such as keyword research and on-page optimisation.
Creative
- Plan, shoot/film and edit photography/videos for use across our digital and internal communications platforms, working with the wider Marketing team and external agencies on larger scale film/photography projects.
- Create engaging branded graphics for multichannel use ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and visual identity with a forward-thinking and visually engaging approach.
- Bring fresh ideas and creativity to strengthen the Muntons brand across diverse audiences across core pillars of commercial, corporate, recruitment and colleague engagement
Campaigns and Communications
- Bring the Muntons brand to life through storytelling, supporting lead generation and sales activity whilst positioning the business as an industry leader.
- Work closely with the Marketing team and external creatives to develop concepts for campaigns and new product launches that showcase the breath of our products.
- Adapt and roll out campaign assets across both organic and paid channels.
Other
- Support the Marketing team in keeping the company website updated, including blogs, news stories and SEO activity such as keyword research and on-page optimisation.
- Support internal communications as required, including creating photo, video and written content for internal screens, monthly Town Hall meetings, and the intranet.
- Support the wider Marketing team with admin and reporting requirements, assisting with priorities when they arise.
Required skills and personal attributes
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in digital communications/marketing, social media management and content creation.
- Experience of managing corporate social media accounts across channels, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and Bluesky
- Understanding of basic SEO principles and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Strong creative copywriting, photography and videography skills, with proficiency in video editing software.
- An eye for design, with experience of using design tools such as Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- An eye for details, and the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Commercially aware with an understanding of B2B marketing.
- A confident self-starter, not afraid to bring new ideas and work with a range of stakeholders.
- Must be located within a 1 hour radius of our Stowmarket headquarters.
Desirable skills
- Graphic design qualification or experience using InDesign / Photoshop
- Experience of using website content management systems, such as WordPress
- Experience delivering paid social media campaigns and an understanding of LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Business Suite.
- B2B experience in the food, beverage, or sustainability sectors is a plus.
- This role will require occasional travel to our two production sites in Yorkshire so a full UK driving licence would be an advantage.

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
