About The Role

As our People Experience Team Lead, you'll lead by example while remaining hands-on in the day-to-day running of reception. Working closely with the Medical Centre Manager, you'll help ensure our front-of-house operates efficiently, our patients receive exceptional service, and our reception team feels supported to thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our reception team by fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting continuous improvement, and encouraging professional growth.

This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Leading, coaching and supporting the reception team.
  • Coordinating the daily operations and workflow of reception.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service to patients and visitors.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training of reception staff.
  • Assisting with performance development and team engagement.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve reception processes and the patient experience.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative teams.
  • Helping create a positive, supportive and welcoming clinic culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in a GP practice or healthcare administration.
  • Leadership or senior reception experience (preferred).
  • A positive, honest, reliable and self-motivated attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for patient care and outstanding customer service.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently de-escalate challenging situations.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, with experience using Medtech Evolution highly desirable.
  • The ability to motivate others, build strong relationships and lead by example.
