We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Specialty Doctor Integrated Sexual Health to join our caring and progressive team in Canterbury.

This is a fixed term specialty doctor post to be based at our purpose-built integrated sexual health clinic in the grounds of the QEQM Hospital in Margate.

The candidate will join an enthusiastic multidisciplinary team providing integrated sexual health to the population of east Kent, Medway and East Sussex. This post is in addition to the 7 WTE GUM / HIV Consultant and 4 WTE specialty doctor posts across east Kent, East Sussex and Medway.

The role will involve diagnosis and management of sexually transmitted infections, provision of all methods of contraception including delivering LARC methods and supporting nursing colleagues. If the post holder does not have prior experience in all aspects of sexual health, the necessary training and support will be given whilst in post to become competent. The role may also involve telephone triage and provision of contraception and simple STI treatments following virtual consultations.
