Your role

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you are responsible for ensuring a smoothly operating international supply chain. You oversee the entire flow of goods from supplier to customer and ensure maximum delivery reliability, efficiency, and transparency throughout the chain. In this role, you connect suppliers, customers, internal departments, and logistics partners, while operating across operations, planning, and commercial activities. As a central link within the organization, you ensure processes run efficiently and translate improvement opportunities directly into concrete actions, with a strong focus on optimization and further professionalization.

Specifically, This Means:

  • You manage the entire goods flow (inbound & outbound) and monitor delivery reliability (OTIF), inventory levels, and product availability;
  • You oversee logistics partners and continuously optimize performance, processes, and systems based on KPI’s and operational insights;
  • You support demand planning, sales forecasting, and pricing strategy;
  • You coordinate import and export flows, including customs and transport documentation;
  • You ensure compliance with international laws and regulations;
  • You act as a sparring partner for operations, sales, and management.

What you bring

You are an independent and decisive professional who maintains overview and takes ownership. You easily switch between operational activities and strategic challenges and feel at home in the dynamics of international trade. With your hands-on mindset, you ensure smooth goods flows and continuously improve processes. You are analytically strong, proactive, and able to professionally engage stakeholders at different levels. In addition, you combine commercial insight with a strong focus on results and collaboration.

  • Bachelor’s level of working and thinking (HBO) in Supply Chain, Logistics, BusinessAdministration, or a related field;
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or international trade;
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Dynamics 365, Exact, NetSuite,

or similar;

  • Knowledge of import/export, Incoterms, and international logistics processes;
  • Experience with process optimization and supply chain improvement projects;
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management abilities;
  • You work proactively, in a structured and solution-oriented way, possess strong
  • Analytical skills, and have an affinity with data;
  • Excellent Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Lean, and S&OP methodologies is a plus;
  • Experience in the food and feed ingredients industry is a plus;
  • You are proficient in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
