Are you an organised and detail-focused warehouse professional looking for your next challenge? We're looking for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join our fast-paced operation, playing a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, supporting warehouse efficiency, and ensuring products are received, stored and dispatched to the highest standards. You'll be a vital member of the team, helping to keep our warehouse running smoothly while delivering outstanding service to our customers.
Key Details
Shift: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
DOE
- Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries, ensuring accuracy against delivery documentation.
- Maintaining accurate stock records through regular system updates and stock reconciliation.
- Carrying out cycle counts and investigating stock variances where required.
- Monitoring stock rotation and ensuring products are stored correctly in line with FIFO principles.
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Preparing products for dispatch, ensuring all labelling and documentation requirements are met.
- Replenishing stock and supporting efficient stock movement across warehouse locations.
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and health & safety compliance at all times.
What you will bring to our team
- Previous experience working within a warehouse environment, ideally with stock control responsibilities.
- Experience of inventory management, stock taking or cycle counting processes.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or stock control systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to stock accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of key tasks.
- Clear communication skills, reliability and a collaborative team approach.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a busy warehouse operation.
