We are working with a leading provider of therapeutic services for children and young people. They opperate throughout the UK and offer a range of F2F and remote services.

Contract length - 16-20 Hours

Location - Solihull

Pay - Negotiable

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking an initial occupational therapy assessment.
  • Developing and implementing an individualised sensory diet.
  • Delivering training to school staff to support the implementation of the sensory programme.
  • Developing and supporting the delivery of a Motor Skills United programme.
  • Working alongside a Teaching Assistant, who will deliver the weekly intervention programme.
  • Reviewing and adapting the Motor Skills United programme approximately every 7 weeks.
  • Liaising with school staff to ensure interventions are effective and tailored to the child's needs.

Requirements

  • HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children in school or paediatric settings.
  • Knowledge of sensory processing and sensory regulation strategies.
  • Experience developing motor skills interventions.
  • Ability to deliver training and work collaboratively with education staff.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
