Job Overview
Mitie has a great opportunity for a Receptionist to join the Total Security Management Team; the Receptionist will be based with one of our prestigious customers. This is a permanent role reporting into the Security Manager.
What we are looking f or
As a Security Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact at Westinghouse for all visitors, customers, and stakeholders attending Springfields site. Ensuring compliance with the Office for Nuclear Regulation is a key element of this role.
You will report to the Mitie Security Management Team and Site Security Department for matters relating to this role. This is a full-time permanent position whereby you will work solely at the Springfields site. The position will be Monday to Friday, hours of work will be determined and in line with business requirements, these will be discussed at interview.
Main Duties
- To work as part of a team in delivering a first-class service within the contract.
- To support the Service Level Agreement by ensuring that all Site Support activities are carried out effectively.
- To ensure all customer requests are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
- Support Emergency Evacuation procedures.
- To support the review of procedures and processes.
What we need from you
Ability to follow written and oral instruction accurately
- Ability to interact with a variety of people including executive members, customers and contractors
- Ensuring a Security driven mindset is applied whilst maintaining a customer service focus.
- Ability to work independently within established guidelines; to adjust to rapidly changing priorities; to communicate and work effectively with colleagues and the client.
- Booking visitors and contractors onto and off site, ensuring regulatory obligations are adhered to.
- Ensuring all passes within your control are accounted for, with a requirement for regular audits to be carried out.
- Issuing of passes when required, ensuring that appropriate procedures are followed.
- Taking ownership of your work environment to ensure a professional first impression is portrayed to all personnel booking onto site.
- You will be required to maintain and manage various IT systems, including use of Microsoft and other stand-alone software packages.
- The ability to prioritise your workload accordingly.
- Either hold a current SIA licence or be able to obtain a new licence.
