About the Role

Our client is a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm with a well-established Private Client team, recognised for delivering exceptional legal advice and outstanding client service. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) to join their friendly and experienced Private Client department based in West Norfolk.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career within a supportive environment, working alongside experienced Partners on a varied and rewarding caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of private client matters, including wills, lasting powers of attorney, probate, and estate administration.
• Assist senior solicitors with more complex estate planning, trusts, and inheritance tax matters.
• Draft a range of legal documents and provide clear, practical, and tailored advice to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through a professional, compassionate, and client-focused approach.
• Ensure files are managed efficiently and remain compliant with regulatory and firm requirements.
• Contribute to business development activities and support the continued growth of the Private Client team.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly) with a genuine interest in Private Client law.
• Previous private client experience gained during your training contract is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to client care.
• Well-organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• High levels of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• A proactive team player who is equally comfortable working independently.
