Woking Borough Council is seeking an experienced and motivated Housing Lawyer to join its well-regarded Legal Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality legal support across a broad range of housing matters within a forward-thinking local authority.

About the role

You’ll manage a diverse and interesting caseload, including:

• Possession proceedings
• Housing disrepair claims
• Anti-social behaviour cases
• Injunction applications
• Private sector housing matters

Working closely with senior leaders, you will help deliver an efficient and effective legal service, while also supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the Council.

• Able to work independently and manage a busy caseload
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines
• Experienced in housing law within a local government or similar setting
